king ubu
Have finally ordered that one from the recent sale (with the Hamp, Bird and the new Tolliver Select!) - looking forward a lot. Sneeked that one in before the devaluation of the Swiss zlotty then ! Maybe some of us can now go skiing next year.. Yeah well... there's plenty of stuff that cost twice as much here as in other european countries BEFORE the € and the US$ went down the drain... and now some supermarkets are giving such generous currency-related discounts as 7% I'm not afraid about sound of the Turrentine - never had any real complaints about sound of a Mosaic, remember I'm not equipped with the finest of ears... colinmce
Disk 2. Maybe my favorite Mosaic set, period. It was a revelation to me.

golfcrazy1984
Disk 3. This is one of the Selects I'm waiting for Mosaic to get back in print . Seems like it will be very enjoyable, swingin' music, played by true greats. How's the sound quality?

An easier swinging set of music you will not find. Just absolutely blissful stuff.

Clunky
An easier swinging set of music you will not find. Just absolutely blissful stuff. Colin is right. I play this set quite a bit, it still sits on the shelf near the HiFi, a rare honour accorded to among others Beatles mono, Thomas Chapin -Alive, Bob Dylan Mono box and handful of single CDs I can't put away. golfcrazy1984
Thanks for the feedback everybody!!! I should've ordered this years ago, but it'll be back in stock soon, and will order then!!! Although it makes no sense to order just one Select....I might get the Chu set too since I don't have it and it looks great. I'm listening to the Count Basie Roulette Studio recordings...it's wonderful and inspiring music. Such a band! Specifically the Kansas City Suite now. golfcrazy1984
After work listen to the Lunceford set. Disk 2 is swingin' away in only the style Lunceford could.
