alankin
Argo, Emarcy and Verve Small Group Buddy Rich Sessions - disc 2. So far, I'm enjoying this one more than I expected to. There's a lot of good Sweets Edison on the first two discs. Edited August 12, 2011 by alankin

Head Man
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this but having listened to Disc 1 I'm VERY impressed. Great charts and great soloing. Has anyone seen this band live?

king ubu
Skipped the Lang/Venuti - money was short and it ran out too soon for me... got the JSP instead. Too bad. Anyway, I've been catching up on some OOP sets (most recently the Satchmo All Stars and the Blue Notes from Bechet and George Lewis) and I hope if I'll be patient, the Lang may turn up, too... king ubu
Read the great biographical essay in the Bechet Blue Note box today - and played Bechet's music all day long (not just the Mosaic).
