Head Man Posted August 15, 2011 Report Posted August 15, 2011 I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this but having listened to Disc 1 I'm VERY impressed. Great charts and great soloing. Has anyone seen this band live? Quote

king ubu Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 Skipped the Lang/Venuti - money was short and it ran out too soon for me... got the JSP instead. Too bad. Anyway, I've been catching up on some OOP sets (most recently the Satchmo All Stars and the Blue Notes from Bechet and George Lewis) and I hope if I'll be patient, the Lang may turn up, too... Quote
