montg
Andrew Hill Select (the group recordings -- MS 016). This late 60s early 70s era of Blue Note is fascinating to me. This Hill Select, coupled with the Tyner Select, are favorites.

Guest Bixieland
I finally got around to the Bix/T/T set. Outstanding. It is. One of their best sets. Absolutely one of their best, and essential. I'm currently listening to the Venuti/Lang set - disc 6. If you liked the Bix/T/T, this one might be even better. It covers the same time, but is a broader picture of 20s and early 30s America -- notably the blues. And the sound quality is a notch above the Bix/T/T set.
