Spirtual Starlites - Long Black Limousine (ASL - Atlanta Soul Liberation). One of my favorite Atlanta gospel albums, from around 1979 or so. My cover is better shape than the one in the only picture I could find online, but I'm glad I found a picture, with the Starlites looking sharp in front of that long black limousine.

British dance band with a strong jazz feel and some damn fine solos by Americans Adrian Rollini and Chelsea Quealey and British trumpeter Norman Payne. The latter also made value contributions to Spike Hughes' sessions released on Decca. Decent transfers on this 2LP set by John RTD.

Just started to make my way through the new box that showed up today on my doorstep: Miles Davis Complete Plugged Nickel (Mosaic), and yes, it's all it's cracked up to be! I listened to the first 4 sides, and the highlight so far is the first appearance of "The Theme".
