This was a 1971 album recorded in New Orleans by Japanese fanatics. The Nelson associates include Alvin Alcorn on trumpet, Albert Burbank on clarinet, Emmanuel Sayles on banjo among others. Nice to listen to... I don't know that one - sounds good. I like Louis Nelson a lot. During my first visit to New Orleans in 1990, I heard the Kid Sheik band at Preservation Hall; Nelson was the regular trombonist, but was in the hospital due to injuries suffered in a car accident.
