sidewinder
would that be it's first issue ? Yes, I think it is. The session is from 1972 I think (issued then, recorded 1971) and the UA labels were 'current' during 1970-73. Also, a lot of copies of this one seem to have been given the dreaded 'corner clip' treatment on the sleeve but this one survived unscathed. I'll need to spin the CD later, I was exactly overwhelmed when I last listened to it. The handful of UA BN issues or reissues I've got seem really excellent pressings. Good to hear it all nice and clear ! Lee Morgan sounds a bit further back in the mix though, compared with the CD.

I was spinning this just yesterday. It's a great sounding set , typical of the series.
sidewinder
Ric Colbeck 'The Sun Is Coming Up' (UK Fontana, stereo) It would appear that, like Ravi Shankar, he played with both The Beatles and Coltrane !

JSngry
Chuck Wayne Tapestry - (Focus) mono 1964- mostly pretty subdued date in relatively limited fidelity, entirely listenable but it's no headline grabber. That cover art would make good Indian restaurant wallpaper ! Yeah, if that's 1964, the art director was ahead of his/her time in terms of getting psychedelic. Ever heard of either of these two (bottom, lower-leftish, very small print)?

I couldn't see who the other person involved with the cover art was. The record looks like it's interesting.
