Worth hearing. The Pepper-Knepper Quintet 'With Pepper Adams and Jimmy Knepper' (MetroJazz/MGM Japan) I got this edition a few weeks ago. It's a great date. Quote

This was directly purchased from Sun Ra back in 1967. Cover is metallic silver colored and still has its original gloss! The tapes used for this album sound SO much better than those on the CD. No idea if they're the same tapes, or if the masters just went to hell between the 1970s and 90s. Quote
