jeffcrom
Tootie Heath 'Kawaida' (Trip) with Don Cherry, JimmyHeah, Herbie Hancock Tootie is mispelled Toudie Heath on the record cover and labels! Trip never was the classiest label. That record is a new one to me. The original issue was on the Obe label - I've got a reissue of that one. It's "Toudie" Heath there, too. This record has never connected with me the way I expected. Maybe I'll give it another try soon.

rdavenport
Highway 61 Revisited. Big feature in this month's Record Collector about this LP. Not sure I'd agree with calling it the most influential/important/whatever album ever, but I like it.

sidewinder
Ah, the old twoofer, love this series, over here costed two LPs for the price of one, my schoolmates brooked the money-box and got a single album of Genesis, I got two Miles Davis'! Got loads of them too. I think I might even have that Evans twofer. My favourites are the Blakey 'Thermo', the Lateef and the Cannonball. The 'sampler' twofer is an old favourite too (one of my very first purchases back during fuel cuts of yester-year ).
