BillF Posted December 5, 2009 Report Posted December 5, 2009 Dizzy Gillespie; The Greatest Trumpet Of Them All Verve/Poygram(France) Now that's a rarity (and a very good album, too!) I'm afraid I only have an audio tape of a friend's copy. Quote

Yeah, the Polydor is a bit easier to source and I prefer its artwork, actually... broken-mirror image of Carla Bley! Instant Composers Pool 002 (Mengelberg, Bennink, Tchicai): And ICP Orchestra 022 Live Soncino: Great stuff. I keep trying to get that Soncino but every copy I've had has been badly warped. Rrgh. martini Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Great stuff. I keep trying to get that Soncino but every copy I've had has been badly warped. Rrgh. Ouch! I'd hate to think of any of these being warped. It is a great spin, and tough to find. I picked mine up from a Japanese place called Bamboo Music. It plays straight as an arrow, so I'm elated with the transaction. Quote
