jeffcrom
Steve Lacy - Reflections (OJC reissue). Excellent early Lacy, and what a band! I love the compositional ambiguity Monk gave "Reflections." Are the first two bars an introduction, or is that where the 32-bar tune starts? It works either way, even going into the bridge. Brilliantly constructed.
The Magnificent Goldberg
Prompted by the Shelby Singleton RIP thread, I've dug out Sil Austin - Honey sax - SSS International (Polydor UK) kinda lush string-filled versions of pop tunes, but Sil's sound is ravishing. next Mongo Santamaria - Soul bag - Columbia (CBS UK) MG

Clunky
Miles - Miles Davis - Top Rank Japan (Rank 5066)- sort of deep groove- got this today, appears like the pressing dates from some point in the sixties. Has 61.4.7 on the rear cover in what looks like printed felt marker pen. Curious, music excellent of course with very good sound.
