Ahmad Jamal at the Pershing, But Not for Me (Argo)--It seems miraculous to find a 50 year old record that looks virtually new and appears to have never been played, but I found this copy today. Quote

I first bought some Parker Dial tracks in 1959 on a French Guilde du Jazz 10" LP and, as I recall, the sound was so dire that when the Spotlites emerged, they sounded like a revelation. Quote
