Clunky
Paul Bley Blood Fontana, it has this black and white Jazzlife cover , not sure if this predates( or is a reissue of ) the Marte Roling cover which appears to be better known below (edited as link to Roling covers deleted) Roling Edited September 11, 2009 by Clunky
clifford_thornton
That's a good question about the Jazz Life series. There were two Roeling covers with this as the alternate (the other being Ted Curson's Urge). Quite a number of bop sessions were issued in this series - Dexter Gordon, Bud Powell, Howard McGhee's Sharp Edge, etc., as well as pre-bop material. I suspect they were nearly contemporaneous, as the catalog numbers did not change between Roeling and Jazz Life issues. I also have the Ted Curson Urge session with a Jazz Life cover, very good date indeed. I'd be interested to find out more about that series, cool covers and great music. sidewinder
I've got the 'Urge' with that style of cover too. There's also at least one Bud Powell and I've also seen a Zagreb Jazz Quartet issue in this series.

porcy62
Giuseppe Torelli - Concerto in Sol Minore op 8 - I Musici, Fontana stereo. My uncle gave me this one, and other 10 records of early classical music, from 1400 up to early 1700, very very interesting.
