I have a dark blue copy of the 'Evolution' too and agree that the sound on this one is excellent. Dark blues with 'Van Gelder' usually = Good. Quote

At first I thought it was the cartridge as I'd been messing around with tracking and I had visions of yet more expensive return deliveries to Japan ( ) - at least this one is in warranty and it's down the road to Salisbury.
