Daniel A
Jacki McLean 'Capuchin Swing' (BN/Toshiba). I love the passage when the form breaks down during the piano solo of "Francisco"!

Big Al
Don't know if needle-drops count, since I'm listening to a .wma version of Getz/Byrd JAZZ SAMBA, making sure there's no skips or anything before committing it to a CD. I used to have the VME of this title, and I don't remember the VME sounding so ALIVE like the vinyl does!

Not brownie, but I only have the LP version. Thanks for letting us know, but I hate when they add extra material and I end up buying it again. edit: On reflection, this band is worth paying extra $ for 21 more minutes. And I did get to listen to the LP for 20 some years. So I'm happy they added the extra music. This is what happens when I write before I think. six string
Eddie Harris - Trip! (Stereo Sounds) New one for me. Anyone heard of this record before? There are no credits on anything on this record. Liner notes has no name, no list of musicians outside of Eddie's name on the cover, no songwriter's credits on cover or label and there are a lot of standards on it. The cover says that the label is a subsidiary of Phono-Record Management Inc. L.A., Ca. It's not on his website's discography and not on AMG either.
