sidewinder Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Keith Tippett - You are Here I am There - (Polydor Japanese issue) w/ Elton Dean, Nick Evans, Marc Charig, Jeff Clyne and Alan Jackson I see that a UK company have just re-issued this on 200g vinyl. How is it? Quote
clifford_thornton Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 It's a good record - of course "early" and some of the ideas aren't totally jelled. Kind of like a mid-quality Graham Collier record, maybe? Quote

Kind of like a mid-quality Graham Collier record, maybe? Thanks - sounds just up my street. I like the Vertigo more; it's different, more funky and a bit wild - it's called Dedicated to You, But You Weren't Listening (from a tune written by Hugh Hopper). Quote

I'll look out for that one too - another that has been recently reissued on vinyl I think. Saw Keith at Bath a year or so ago in a solo piano performance (plus assorted bricks and chimes etc.). That was wild ! Quote
