Johnny Hodges Blue Hodge and Mess of Blues - both with Wild Bill Davis. The Rabbit/WBD stuff would be a fine Mosaic Select.

I agree - except there are 7 Verve LPs and two RCA Victors, and at least an LP's worth of unissued material - looks like a big box to me.

The Andorrans are taking care of those Hodges/WBDavis:

Bleedin' 'ell!

Well, Verve weren't interested. Mosaic haven't been. There's no doubt about market demand. So...

Johnny Hartman 'I Love Everybody' (ABC, stereo)

with studio bands led by Jack Pleis and Olivier Nelson

Never heard it, does it whort a research on used vinyl shops? Nice title anyway, though I am much more selective then Mr. Hartmann ;)

Save your money for worthier sessions.

This was not one of Hartman's best. Strange that he did excellently with Impulse then the two albums on ABC were somehow disappointing.

The 2 LPs are now available on a Gambit CD if you really want to check!

Thanks for the advise. I am not a huge fan of male jazz singers, but I liked the Coltrane's sessions.
