Shannon Dickey
Toni OK "Golden Guitar Mood" Repent. Sensational LP!! Great (fairly current) Surf Guitar!! Not only that, but Tony plays ALL the instruments: Lead guitar, rhythm guitar, Electric Bass, Drums. Plus, he wrote all the songs himself!! On Michael Lucas' Repent label. This guy is no slouch! I have several 45rpm's by him, but this the explosive device!!! The LP was issued in 1996/1997. Well worth seeking out if you like virtuoso guitar. BTW, he is Japanese. ----HB

GA Russell
TTK, I think I have a tape of this. I can't say that I remember the cover. Is Gracinha Leporace the vocalist? I read in his obituary that Manfredo Fest was the pianist for Bossa Rio. Is he on this album? Is this the album with Girl Talk and Black Bird on it? Teasing the Korean
TTK, I think I have a tape of this. I can't say that I remember the cover. Is Gracinha Leporace the vocalist? YES! I read in his obituary that Manfredo Fest was the pianist for Bossa Rio. Is he on this album? YES! Is this the album with Girl Talk and Black Bird on it? No, that's their SECOND album on the Blue Thumb label, which also contains the definitive version of BB's "Don't Go Breaking My Heart." The album I posted is their first album on A&M. As far as I know they made only these two records, both gems, and essential for a hipster like you!
