Teasing the Korean Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 I solved my depression problem. Just received a mint copy of Beatles' White Album. Mono UK pressing, #0005734. It costed me a fortune, but surely it's cheaper then three years of psychoanalysis. What do you think of this? I generally prefer the Beatles in mono right up through Hey Jude and Revolution, but I'm disappointed by the White Album in mono. It seems like the stereo release took priority on this one. Don't mean to rain on your parade, but I'm just curious. Quote

Can't comment on originals but i love my Rubber Soul, With the Beatles, Hard Days Night in mono. Abbey Road is wonderful in stereo though.... Quote

The music is great but the recording quality just so-so. It shouldn't be too difficult to pick up a 60s/70s Dootoo pressing of this one. Quote
