I always see her left shoulder as a sort of white mitten coming over the side of the guitar.

And I've not been able to unsee that ever since you mentioned it before...beware the white mitten!

Two doozies.  :tup

Yes, I had forgotten how good is that Silver, beautifully written compositions, excellent Farmer and lovely standard at the end. As for tonight:

Herbie Hancock – Maiden Voyage (Liberty)
Archie Shepp – Ballads For Trane (Denon)
McCoy Tyner  – Trident (Musidisc)

I love Alice Coltrane, got two of her CD´s from Serena: Carnegie Hall, and Complete Consciousness.

Who is on this one ? I think I might love it too....

I’m pretty sure you will. It has Pharoah Sanders, Cecil McBee and Rashied Ali on most tracks plus some percussionists. Charlie Haden replaces McBee on the last track and that track has Vishnu Wood on oud. It’s prime Alice Coltrane.

Wonderful ! THANK you sooooooooo much 🤩

That´s all my favourites. Pharoah is one of my greatest favourites, I have more than 2 or 3 albums from him and have heard him life so often. Pharoah and Sun Ra are among the greatest things that was given me in all my live !

Mulțumesc frumos !

Gheorghe if you only have 2 or 3 Pharoah Sanders albums it's about time to get a whole lot more 😜
