The message board combined my responses, so the CTI is not mono. Of course, there is always the mono button on your amp!

HutchFan
Now on my turntable: Ed Bickert / Don Thompson (Sackville, 1978) Subtle, lovely music. Stickers on the cover and labels inform me that my LP was formerly property of the Duquesne University Library. However, it doesn't appear to have been checked out much. The vinyl is very clean. Kevin Bresnahan
Just finished - Red Garland - Red Alert (Galaxy). Noisy pressing. It looks spotless but plays with quite a bit of low-level crackle in spots. It probably needs a good cleaning but I never did buy one of those things. Now playing: Booker Ervin - Down In The Dumps (Savoy). I found a RVG cut from the late 70s. Record looks unplayed.

Great album, I love Shepp shouting the time change on Trio during his solo. (Five Five!). Moses dominates on drums. Great drummer who doesn’t have a big discography to his name. clifford_thornton
yeah, Trio is worth the price of admission alone. the Storyville reissue uses the International Polydor cover. This is the original sleeve art, which first appeared on a heavy folkways-style sleeve and then was issued in a thin flipback by Sonet.
