GA Russell Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 Right now I am enjoying Miles Davis - Oleo (Prestige). This was a 1971 LP which combined two of my favorite Miles Prestige sessions: the 1954 Oleo date and the 1956 Vierd Blues date. Phoney stereo? Yes. Last night and today: Richard "Groove" Holmes - The Groover (Prestige). Nucleus - Direct Hits (Vertigo). (A Best of compilation. What a collection of all-stars!) Isotope - Illusion (Gull). (1975 Hugh Hopper band.) Hugh Hopper - Hoppertunity Box (Compendium). (1976, with the usual suspects.) Quote
