My favourites switch nearly every time I listen to any of his Impulses - such a strong run. I have a big soft spot for 'Live At The East' and that along with 'Karma' are probbaly my two favourites, today 

'Tauhid' is cued up next.

I find my reissue LP copy of Tauhid is very muddy when compared to the digital or CD versions. Sonny Sharrock is submerged complely. How does the original compare?

It sounded good earlier, will listen again over the next day or two

 

edit to add: listening again now and I don't really detect muddiness.  Sharrock isn't high in the ensemble mix at times and that mix is quite dense. Burrell's the biggest loser in the mix as I'm hearing it.
