HutchFan Posted August 13, 2019 Report Posted August 13, 2019 This is one of McPartland's most interesting records, I think. Quote
HutchFan Posted August 13, 2019 Report Posted August 13, 2019 Jimmy Madison's drumming on Ambiance really caught my ear. Wanting to hear more, I pulled this LP off the shelf: Jack Walrath - Wholly Trinity (Muse, 1988) with Chip Jackson & Jimmy Madison ... not that I need an excuse to spin this LP! It's reeeeaaaallly good. And Jimmy Madison! Yeah man! I dig! Quote
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted August 14, 2019 Report Posted August 14, 2019 havent picked up a new jazz lp in a while but i got this which i didnt know of- its a laid back record itll be good i got the reissue which still should be as good as the orig i suppose- vinyl look s to be of good quality, maybe virgin vinyl, almost in "dynaflex" style but note they labeled the lp Off the Record instead of the title of the lp--- also it has a mono rear cover, stereo front cover- and stereo lp - real stereo Quote
