Since then he fascinates me. This record has a special meaning for me. Dave signed it for me. Wonderful tunes Goli Dance, Loft Dance, and a really fantastic version of Coltrane´s "Your Lady". ....... And topnotch musicians, almost an allstar band of the 70´s killer album. Quote

Doesn’t bug me too much - probably because I am so used to hearing stereo Atlantic and immune to it. Having said that, by far the best ‘Giant Steps’ I have heard is the mono UK first release on the London label. Edited February 23, 2019 by sidewinder Quote
HutchFan Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 David Friedman & David Samuels - Double Image (Enja) Excellent music. ... Top-shelf sound quality too -- like many Enja LPs from the late-70s and early-80s. Quote

porcy62 Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Yeah, some BN are like wines, if you bought a case of Chateau Lafite Rotschild before the first WW you were lucky, like the caterer that traded Van Gogh paintings for lunches. Anyway it's part of the fun Quote
