paul secor Posted November 17, 2018 Report Posted November 17, 2018 The one time I heard Albert Ayler play live, it was with this band (Junie Booth replacing Alan Silva) in the spring of 1968. As I recall, they played some of the tunes from this album, but as medleys, rather than individual tunes. To my ears, that was more effective, but I guess Impulse decided that the record would be more commercial if the tunes were separated. Quote
