sidewinder
The ‘palm tree’ logo came in during the mid 1970s. Early seventies was pink label.

The only copy I've ever seen looked in very good condition and was tucked under Evan Parker's arm. Whilst he played the gig he left it lying unattended on the Vortex piano. I spent some time wondering if I could cause a sufficient distraction...

HutchFan
This is something special. I only discovered it recently, but it's already one of my favorite jazz records with vocals. I think this set is even better than Carmen's more well-known Great American Songbook on Atlantic.

rdavenport
Oh no, didn't enjoy that at all, album aborted after side 1. Horrible recording. Wilkerson sounds a bit "paper and comb", and Nat Adderley is shrill.

Gave it another spin - it is true that Wilkerson sounds a bit ‘comb and paper’. Nowhere near as well recorded as his Blue Notes.
