I don't know. I just have this album, not the album you reference. This one has arrangements by Gil Fuller, features a vocalist named Leni Groves and a band including Moore on piano and organ, Hadley Caliman on tenor sax and flute, Joe Pass on guitar, Joe Comfort on bass, Francisco Aquabella on congas, and Clarence Johnson on drums.

Sounds like it might be the same guy. The Phil Moore I know was a pianist and arranger.  Is it from the 1950s or 60s?

That`s a good one  ....

Yes, sounding very fine this evening. Grachan and Andy seem an unlikely pairing at first but work very well together

Ricotti & Albuquerque------First Wind--------(Pegasus UK)

Prog-jazz-rock-blues that works well enough. Superbly recorded and yet this probably heading to the for sale pile. I need the space/ cash etc

Grachan Moncur III - Shadows [Denon]

Is Andy Bey on all tracks? His presence would make me think avoid.

If only it was an instrumental mix I'd have it off you in a trice

Bey's a very prominent presence throughout so if you're not a fan I'd suggest avoiding

Prince Lawsha - Firebirds, Live at Berkeley Jazz Festival vol.1 [Birdseye]

Side 2 is particularly striking - Lawsha and Caliman weave a lovely tapestry but the Hutcherson, Williams, Moffett trio also come into there own.

The album is not dated, but according to other sources is from 1967.

Albert Harris:  Bacchanal - Conducted by Frank DeVol (Columbia, mono)

An orchestral suite inspired by the Greek Gods.  Amazing to think there was a time that a major label would have released something like this.
