Is that an analog recording or a digital one?

I don`t know, but I spend a call and an email to Universal Music, Baarn, NL. Let you know the verdict, I have a vinyl.

The Straight Horn of Steve Lacy

I had forgotten that Roy Haynes played on this record. Enjoyed his contributions during this listen.

Is this with Maxwell Davis?

A couple of tracks may have been recorded with Maxwell Davis or they may have been recorded in Detroit with T.J. Fowler's band - the discography on the back says either/or. And a number of the tracks have unknown personnel or partially unknown personnel. I'd say if you're looking for T-Bone with Maxwell Davis, look elsewhere.

Maxwell Davis was on the following T-Bone Imperial sessions:

15 Aug 1951;

20 Aug 1951;

c Dec 1951;

10 Mar 1952;

Mar 1952; and

c Mar 1952.

I don't know what's on that LP of Paul's.
