only 47 sec of phaorah but thats 47 sec of phaorah's esp lp id never have....this isnt like a columbia sampler thats a selection of cuts--- this is like 45-50 sec clips that fade in n out.  albert ayler spiritual unitys on it too

yeah I just re-bought this, picked up a perfect sealed copy and it had a sweet 20 page ESP catalog inside. The sampler is cool, almost like a sound-collage. I like it.

Everything is Everything -- Just Flash in the Cosmic Pan -- (Columbia JP, promo orig)

excellent plugged-in free music with Joe Bonner, Dave Liebman, Randy Brecker, Lenny White, John Abercrombie, Steve Grossman and others.

Didn't know that one existed.  Quite the line-up.  Looks interesting.

EDIT:
I just found it on YouTube.  In case others might want to give it a listen:

Johnny Griffin: Live in Tokyo (Philips)

Had my eye on that after Horace Parlan died and pulled the trigger with a discogs seller this past weekend.  Now that I know Paul likes it I am sure I will too ... :)

I can't imagine the booklets were consistently installed...

The insert is the continuation of the back cover - no booklet in my copy!

Without thinking about it overly much, this is probably my favorite late Griff.

This is also one of my favorite Griffin records from that period -- along with The Return of the Griffin on Galaxy. Both are superb, imho.
