Homefromtheforest
Jef Gilson "Malagasy" (lumen, france). Have not played this in about 10 years; a fantastic album! If I can stay awake I'll pull out the live album on Palm next...

rostasi
Ahhh, but it's vinyl - something he may not be interested in. I'd like to see a CD version as well, but that is what I come across every-once-in-a-while here: no CD versions.

jeffcrom
Bunky Green - Testifyin' Time (Argo mono). Really nice. Steve Lacy - Prospectus (hat ART). It's been awhile since I've played this. Magnificent - one of my favorite Lacy albums. Swing, Vol. 1 (RCA Vintage Series). Wonderful music. There was never a Volume Two, I don't think. Homefromtheforest
"Prospectus" is my favorite Hat Art Lacy title; followed by "morning joy" and "we see". "Stalks" and "evidence", however, would probably edge all of those out when picking favorites but really why bother? It's like picking gems from gems! Tonight's platter: Ernie Henry "presenting Ernie Henry" (riverside, white label USA orig)

clifford_thornton
Right you are about Lacy. Stalks is a truly amazing record - actually, all those 1975 Japanese tour LPs are essential. There's no "Clinker" in the bunch that he did for Hat Art/Hat Hut.
