Homefromtheforest
Lee Morgan "search for the new land" (blue note, stereo "ear" ny USA). I bought this some years ago in pristine condition...I know a lot of collectors prefer mono but I honestly think stereo Blue Notes sound better after 1963 or so...definitely a more spacious sound. JohnS
Felser's search for this prompted this play as it's not had a spin for quite a while

clifford_thornton
you'd be right. It's fine but not necessary if you're fiending for other music as well. Wooley the Newt is better.

NP Lee Morgan-------Search for the new land-------(BN) NY mono - no ear ( so really a Liberty)  Thanks for mentioning this one again. Such a wonderful session and unlike the rest of Morgan's fine BN catalog.

six string
I'm listening to the second half of Julius Hemphill's Dogon A.D. that I started last night. Â My own energy was lacking so I had to abandon my listening session last noght before finishing. Â It's a very nice reissue though not cheap.
