I've got a copy of that Alan Haven LP recorded at Annie Ross's club with Tony Crombie on drums somewhere in the shelves. His obituary was in JJI a few months ago and he was indeed married initially to Miss World 1965.

Never heard of this one and I am a big Hutto fan. Any details?

Recorded in Sweden in '76 - Hutto on guitar and voice with a Swedish rhythm section. Nice, extra-tinny guitar but there isn't as much "push" as with the Hawks or New Hawks. Amigo pressings are pretty crappy and this one's no exception! :D

Della Reese -----Amen ! -------(London UK)

I'm not familiar with Reese's ( or any gospel for that matter) but her singing her is very fine. Perhaps inevitably I prefer the up tempo numbers but the overall mood is a lot less pious than the cover photo might suggest.
