The Magnificent Goldberg
LED ZEPPELIN III Atlantic US original pressing I'm not trying to cast aspersions, but how can you tell that's an original pressing? It probably went through scores of repressings within weeks of issue. MG

MG True, but I assume that: 1) I didn't burn it from a cd 2) I didn't download it 3) It's a 1841 Broadway label 4) It sounds gorgeous 5) It's not a cassette 6) It's not a bootleg 7) It's not a later reissue Now, tell me: Did I say it's a 'original first' pressing? jazzhound
Chambers Music, an original I just picked up on Jazz West. sounds much better than the Score pressing or the blue note twofer. worth the dough.
Allan Songer
Chambers Music, an original I just picked up on Jazz West. sounds much better than the Score pressing or the blue note twofer. worth the dough. The Imperial pressing is better than the Score, but the Jazz West should rule. Unfortunately, my copy is in "beat minus" condition and I play the Imperial pressing when I listen. One day I might find an original, but with the Jazz West stuff now in the $500 and up range I kinda doubt it.
