Woods/Byrd 'The Young Bloods' (Esquire).

Great rhythm section of Al Haig, Teddy Kotick and Charlie Persip on this one, something for a 'comeback' for Haig back at the time of issue.

The Esquire pressing of this looks super sexy. Always loved the artwork and the session, uneven as it might be in spots, still holds for me.

Pepper Adams - Live At Fat Tuesdays (Uptown Records). Recording made by Malcolm Addey Recorders with Jim Anderson at the controls. Two masters at work created a well recorded live date.

Mine doesn't have a jacket and the pressing is absolutely horrible.

mine has a jacket, which requires some glue. and has one nasty pressing issue on side 2 for 30 secs. Music's great

A charity shop find. Canadian issue I think.   Terrible jacket but the record looks okay but sounds a bit gritty.

Also - at my wife's insistence to clear out some stuff i came across a single sided 10" lp test pressing of a London Origins of Jazz record.  Very nice condition.  Two tracks by Husk O'Hare's Super Orchestra and two by the Wolverines.  Recordings from the early twenties in pretty decent sound.
