clifford_thornton Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 Stockhausen - Kurzwellen - (DGG) Hope your copy sounds better than mine - looks good, but is very crackly. It was bought new (old stock) and sounds as quiet as a CD. Quote

paul secor Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 Sonny Rollins and the Contemporary Leaders (Contemporary) This isn't usually regarded as one of "the" Sonny Rollins albums and I had never regarded it as such, but listening today, there's some fine Sonny and some very good Barney Kessel on it. And Leroy Vinnegar is rock solid, as usual. A much better record than I'd remembered. Quote
mjazzg Posted October 29, 2013 Report Posted October 29, 2013 with a BIG thank you to the current West Coast thread that prompted this purchase. Love Higgins on this. Quote
