clifford_thornton Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Anthony Braxton--For Alto on Delmark DS 420/421 [former radio sample (original?)] Judging by the label, not an original. I believe the first had a circular Delmark logo. That is what I have. Chuck has been over this before, though, and I forgot his answer... Quote
clifford_thornton Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Byard Lancaster " EXODUS"l Philly Jazz 1. W/ Harold E. Smith- Wooden Flute and percussion. Skip Parnell- Bass. Tuff. Weird-ass record and a hilarious cover image. Goya's Jupiter on sax!! Still, my favorite Lancaster LP is the Dogtown... 'nuff said! Quote

sidewinder Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 (edited) Stanley Turrentine - THE SPOILER - BN, mono. Strange copy: Liberty cover, Liberty label 'BLP 4256 microgroove', no 'vangelder' in wax, but Deep Groove. Just checked mine - seems to be just the same but with 'half a deep groove' ie. it looks like one but is an indent on each side. Edited December 5, 2008 by sidewinder Quote
