Reel to Real 2LP. Some good Land - and Carmell Jones - at Seattle Penthouse. Another Kevin Gray mastering.

pretty damn good record with Billy Harper, Cecil Bridgewater and George Mraz. Klaus Weiss made some great records! Can’t say I really dig the artwork but that’s a matter of taste probably.

That artwork is worthy of 32 Jazz !

That is a nice one. The art is ridiculous.

Primary

Marion Brown - Vista, [ABC Impulse!, 1975]

To think I had this lined up for the next clear out. No way, absolute gem of an album

Great album but you could make a pretty penny with it these days.

I suppose the ROI on my $3 is pretty good, but I like it enough to keep it!

Gorgeous solo recital

Oh, that's one of my favorite Marion Brown albums.

Yeah, I was really surprised by current prices. I paid no more than £10 five years ago or so. Not quite as good a deal as CT's

Love this one.

I just looked up the lineup, impressive.

I have a Moers Decoding I never play anymore, maybe I should

Primary

Shannon Jackson & The Decoding Society - Nasty [Moers Muisc, Germany 1981]

This recording sounds like some of the players are next door to the studio or down a long corridor, especially Khan Jamal
