Talking about Eremite: when will they finally reissue Jemeel Moondocs Revolt of the Negro Lawn Jockeys? I don’t even have the cd version and I’d love to have it on vinyl. I believe Clifford said they were going to do it but no sign of it yet unfortunately :(

A real lack of Moondoc out there.

Definitely. And that particular album is like a modern classic. It deserves a good reissue. The cd copy is doing more than 40 euros on Discogs :(

Carol Sloane - Sophisticated Lady (Audiophile, rec. 1977)
An all Ellington program with top-shelf accompaniment by Roland Hanna, George Mraz, and Richie Pratt

The first (and probably best) recording of her "2nd career" .... captivating readings of Ellington "warhorses" ....

It's coming, as far as I know -- small label, redesigning the package, costs/time of manufacturing, etc..

Jasmine JAS 2203 - Johnny Keating  "Swing Revisited" - rec. 1964

The tune titles suggest that this one is on the cheesy side but Keating's ""Swinging Scots" (Dot) is a gem.

it can be found on CD on a baritone saxophonist  Ronnie Ross compilation.
