Tjazz Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 (edited) Found the 14oz. bag at Target for $2. Got home, then my wife tells me she has coupons for M&M's. $1 off on 2 bags. (if fact she has 4 of these coupons) Edited May 14, 2004 by Tjazz Quote
chris olivarez Posted May 15, 2004 Report Posted May 15, 2004 Gee, you probably don't even have Fanta Apple/soda! (Hey, neither do I! ) You're right on that. You don't have Fanta/Apple soda in San Francisco-I'm shocked,SHOCKED!!!!! Yeah...but we have every OTHER flavor of Fanta. Go figure! It's a conspiracy I tell you!!! Quote
Tjazz Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 Entertainment Weekly mentions these as Candy of the Week. Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted May 31, 2004 Author Report Posted May 31, 2004 Candy of the week? They should be calling it candy if the year! I have 4 bags stashed away. Walmart actually stashed the Shrek 2 M&M's on the top shelf and loaded up their shelves with "normal" ones. While I think it stinks that they aren't giving everyone a chance to try these beaties, by putting them up high, they're lasting a lot longer. Later, Kevin Quote
rachel Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 You never mentioned that they come in beautiful Shrek colors!! To a woman, candy is a total sensory experience. Quote
Jim Dye Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I just discovered the wonder of these 'ogre-sized' beauties yesterday! They had a whole end cap full of these, sale-priced for 1.68 at Target. MMMMMMMMM! Quote
chris olivarez Posted June 5, 2004 Report Posted June 5, 2004 Still haven't seen them in Pagosa. Quote
Tjazz Posted June 5, 2004 Report Posted June 5, 2004 Candy of the week? They should be calling it candy if the year! Limited Edition - they won't be around for long. Quote

Jim Dye Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 THEY"RE BAAAACCCKKK! My friendly neighborhood supermarket has a big display of these just in time for the holidays (and DVD release no doubt). Don't miss out! Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Posted February 23, 2011 I'm sitting here having a small bag of "Milk Chocolate" (no more "plain"? weird) M&M's and they taste different. Not the chocolate but the candy shell. I'm looking all over this bag and I can't see where they're made listed anywhere on the bag. Why did they remove this info? Did M&M/Mars move all their production to Mexico like Hershey or am I eating melamine infected M&M's from China? BTW, I seriously miss those ogre-sized M&M's. They even discontinued the "Mega M&M's" that came out a few years ago. BTW II, those new coconut-flavored M&M's are gross. Quote
Man with the Golden Arm Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 missed this one ... Way back a friend of mine had a great collection of "mutant" M&Ms. Criteria was that they still had to have a visible "m" shell. He had them entomologically displayed in a velvet lined shadow box. and BTWII, the coconut ones are just candy coated suntan lotion. Quote
