Just how bad is the sound on the original bootleg, "Live at the Beehive" bad? or worse? -

I'd be very much interested in the music but not in the format or indeed the price. It might be good for getting a bit of exercise on the side, all that getting up and down to change sides/records after one or two tunes. :w -

I'd like to think I would have realised the error of my ways and just stayed below and started a new life deep down in the ground. -

No probs. I'll go halves on a coracle with you I had to look up what a Coracle was and after finding out, I'll give you a polite thanks but no thanks, I've watched to many episodes of "Deadliest Catch". :g We'd probably have more luck in a Currach anyway. -
Here's a link to a site devoted the the artist who did the painting which was used for the cover of "Bitches Brew", along with many others, some nice stuff, but I don't think they like people hotlinking the pictures. Mati Klarwein Online Art Gallery

Make the time man, you're missing out on a lot of pointless nerves/tension and shouting at the T.V. -
In general "life" terms, if you start focusing on what isn't there rather than what is there, you're never going to be happy, if you have more free time in your life, take more exercise, seriously.

Sorry, but this is actually quite a funny story from the epic Chilean mine story... Link. I'm obviously very happy that this worked out for all of them but I reckon this guy would like to stay down there a bit longer.

Another very good show there Ghost, I'm listening to it as I await updates on the future of Liverpool FC, the Board is meeting right now. It's perfect music for the range of emotions I'm feeling right now, :g keep up the good work. :tup -
I might cave as well. I can get credit for my old copy, and "Feio" never did a thing for me so I'd be better off without that track in my life. I'm with you on "Feio", every time I hear it I always think it sounds not just unfinished but unstarted. :g

I would ! Yea, I just might even though it dosn't get played an awful lot, however I can't see any of it coming out again until the bootleggers get a hold it... BTW the RVG of "Smokestack" has just gone into Discontinued Titles/Last Chance according to the latest e-mail from True Blue, was it on it before?

Why not record and release something new on Nessa?

O.K., so I caved and bought the new 3 disc Legacy Edition and I have to say it is probably worth getting it even if you are already familar with the album. The DVD is very good even though I probably won't watch it all that often, they defintely get better as the gig proceeds, they are just fantastic on the last few tunes. The new alternates are very good too, maybe because "Spanish Key" and "John McLaughlin" happen to be 2 tunes I really like anyway, but overall worth getting IMHO.

Agree Tom. Unfortunately, a slew of Hill titles are seeing the ax, including favorites like Dance with Death, Andrew!!! and Pax. Yes "Passing Ships" is fantastic, maybe the one you should give to Hill newbies instead of "Point of Departure"??? It is sad that they are axing a lot of his titles but at least they got to re-issue it while he was alive. Makes me think I should hold on to my Hill big Mosaic.

I think Fresh Sounds have done quite a few Scott re-issues now, of course there is quite a lot of overlap and the sound quality is variable on some of them to say the least but I'm not sure anyone would be able to do anything about that. I think a lot of the selling of cds on here is almost like a peer group pressure thing, people see that some sales threads are getting a good bit of activity and think; I may as well get in on the action while the "market" is so strong. However, in my case it was a feeling of being "overwhelmed" by the amount of stuff I have, and not a good "overwhelmed" either. You know when you go looking for something you haven’t listened to in ages and have to move a load of other stuff to get to it, then you see just how much other stuff you have to move to get to it and you start to realise, “shit, I have way to many cds”. It’s not even the stuff you know about/remember either, it’s the stuff you completely forgot you bought, in addition to things you took a chance on, things you thought would grow on you but haven’t, things you haven’t given up on liking yet but probably really should. Then there’s the other strange problem of stuff I have that I don’t listen to regularly but I would never dream of getting rid of purely because it would be so hard to find again. Also, I think it’s better to offer things like Mosaic’s here rather than ebay, I think someone posted a while back that ebay and paypal fees, which as we know are the same company, will cost you around 25% of whatever you made, which I think is excessive. It may take you longer to sell here and obviously you will set a lower price, but it probably works out better for you in the end. I ment to add that buying the same stuff more than once to get extra tracks/better re-mastering/etc doesn't really help the problem.

Hicks may be fighting on but according to Martin Broughton it will be futile. Broughton seems to be a bit of a funny fish, he was quite a mysterious figure all along then bang, he comes out with this. He reminds me a bit of a Bond villan, only a Bond villan that would actually get to kill Bond. If you're in anyway interested you should read this and watch the whole video, here. This is also an excellent read. Liverpool sale: How Martin Broughton and RBS won control of club's future
