Since only 26 Mins were recorded for this session on Oct 22,1964,Blue Note could combine it with a new release of" Midnight Blue" with bonus tracks. Most of the participants were on both sessions .

1956-Chico Hamilton Quintet records @ The Forum Theatre in L.A. Released on Pacific Jazz and in the Mosaic Box Set. Session finishes on 24 Oct. 1963-Stanley Turrentine (Blue Mitchell,Shirley Scott) Complete the "Chip Off the Old Block" session for Blue Note. Also in a Mosaic Box.

"European Concerts" was released on defunct Label M several years ago.Perhaps there are some copies available.

1962-Horace Silver Quintet records live @ Paris Olympia for Norman Grantz,released much later on Pablo.

1972-Freddie Hubbard records "Sky Dive" session for CTI.Session concludes on the fifth.

1959-Red Garland Trio records Live @The Prelude Club in NYC For Prestige

I gather this was not part of a tour.Smith et all flew in one day and did the recording and went home according to the booklet . I know no more ??

The Smith Trio (Quentin Warren and Billy Hart) recorded the music to this Pierre Granier-Deferre film in one night in Paris in Sept 1965.The English notes portion of the booklet are by Granier-Deferre. The CD is 57 mins long filled out with themes from Joy House,Goldfinger,Mission Impossible and Man with the Golden Arm. These are probable Verve recordings. I different look at Smith. and was available thru Dusty Groove.

Brownie,the Smith recordings were 2 nights in Sept 1965 according to the booklet notes. Thanks for the effort.

Disc 3 is just over 36 min long ← The Japanese releases I have lists the 3 CDs as: 49:29,64:21.39:31 Total 152:81 @ CDs each 76:40, Is this incorrect ?

Japanese released it on 3 CDs,could have fit on 2. Must be money.

1996-Jessica Williams records in Concert in Carmel,CA."Joyful Sorrow" a tribute to Bill Evans. Evans passed 25 years ago today.

Tjobbe, brief power outage cut 4 seconds out of this track. This release is complete except for the track "My Man's Gone Now' which opens the second aftenoon set. That tape went missing.
