I'm waiting for your unique take on Gregorian chants. But it had better be REAL Gregorian chants. This is actually a very good album, but the only thing it has to do with Gregorian chant is that it came out when a Gregorian chant album from Spain was a surprise hit and they were clearly trying to capitalize on that.

I also like the way the app can start to make sense of some of the haphazard tracks on those ridiculous compilations from bloodsucker labels with no knowledge of the music who are just cannibalizing the European PD market.

While it's theoretically possible, there would be so many drawbacks to trying to create a CD on DVD and to play it back that there's no reason to do it. If you don't want to create a second DVD immediately, most programs like Nero & Roxio would allow you to back up the DVD image to a computer's or external hard drive, either in its original folder configuration, or as a single file (ISO image). Then if you need to you can burn that to DVD in the future. Since you have a DVD-R there should be no copy protection.

One of my favorite contemporary pianists. His solo Monk album is brilliant. His work with Nancy King is exquisite. His trio work always pleases me. Bill Charlap I often find boring. And I would urge you to jump at a chance to see him solo.

Work up a 5-year plan and present it for our perusal.

I like Spotify's interface better. I have a Rhapsody premium account because Spotify only recently became available for Kindle Fire, but I'll be switching to Spotify Premium soon. One advantage over Rhapsody is that for $10 I think I can use it on multiple non-PC devices, whereas Rhapsody charges $15 if you want it on two devices, and I also have an iPod touch. In addition, the fact that developers are creating lots of apps and extensions for Spotify will only make it more attractive over time compared to other services.
