Is KH1958 still around? He wrote a comment in this forum back in September about James Szantor from Down Beat mag being "a moron". I e-mailed him to ask a couple of questions and have had no response. James Szantor is my father and he is, by no means, a moron. He is undoubtedly the opposite. He may view things differently than other people but he's entitled too, right? Him and I have had discussions about this incident and there are a lot of unknowns to most. He has seen all of the "back stage" antics that go on. He viewed the show as a professional, not as a concertgoer. Concertgoers tend to be more forgiving because of all of the emotion of the ambience. If you can cut through the emotions and see what actually happened, you may take a different view on things. He had spoken to other players that were there and received the same opinions. Anyway, thought I would share my side a bit. Take care everyone!
