  1. Wahoo too was on MM, as 33 rpm and I lost it. Nowadays is a Take No Prisoners record. Happenings is on my radar as King pressing, not yet found a decent deal, but I will prevail one of these days.
  2. Got this one, not on the top of my Jackie Mac sessions, sound is fine, the piano is surprisingly well focused, though I never listened to other pressings. edit: what I really want in this series are Jackie’s Demon Dance, Bobby’s Happenings and Duke’s Wahoo, all of the other stuff is vinylavailable on other form.
  3. Thanks! Your suggestions are always precious, I mean in every meanings
  4. That would be "Tubbs in New York"? I'll look for it on discogs
  5. Never heard Tubby Hayes before, excellent.
  6. Japanese pressing.

Yes, sonically the Classic reissue are closer to originals then any other reissues I listened to, that doesn't mean that they are the best sounding out there.
  9. The damn never ending records of Jackie Mac...
  10. Not my cup of tea either, but nevertheless interesting.
  11. I found quite interesting the perspective of this study. Here's the link of stereophile article https://www.stereophile.com/content/bookmusic-review-excavated-shellac-alternate-history-worlds-music
  12. Should I dust off my vinyl copy?
  13. Yeah, someone should be sued for not having reissuing Demon's Dance.
  14. Wow, really love this set! I mean everybody knows so much BG that is taken for granted, and often foregone or overlooked, but these sides are so beautiful, definitely my fave Goodman.
  15. I was considering downsizing for several years, never found an integrated I like better then my rig, until now. And two power chords and two interconnects less in the cable jungle makes sense. It was a demo, so I got good money trading my stuff.
  16. Major change in my front end, replaced the Linn Klimax power amps and Linn Kontrol preamp with this integrated: Hybrid, all the spec HERE I am downsizing, not downgrading.
  17. Micromega produced always excellent digital stuff, was the other choice back then when I bought a California Audio Lab. As cds I played what I know and love best, so I guess I decided by heart, not by ears, not very audiophile I think.
  18. I find Waldron's Prestige blowin' session exactly what they are for me: enjoyable blowin session, some better then other, but enjoyable nevertheless. I like the trio too. And agree about The Quest, a great record.
  19. Got my japanese pressing of it from Tanno San.
