Sonic Gallery 3 showcases outstanding electronic, woodwind and acoustic improvisers for an evening of simultaneous performances. The audience, free to roam from artist to artist, will create their own personal "re-mix" through their proximity to chosen performers or choose to take in the event from comfortable seating in one the regions more interesting presenting spaces.
The Sonic Gallery ensemble was carefully chosen to include artists synthesizing individual virtuosity, unique instrumental voices and dedication to interactive music-making at the highest level. More than another "group jam", a time-based structure will create an evening-long composition allowing each artist featured time within a continuously evolving group sound.
The ensemble is divided into 4 four mini-ensembles and a solo unit: Woodwinds with Vinny Golia, Eric Barber and Ellen Burr; a duo ofG.E. Stinson and Steuart Liebig; An eclectic duo of Jack Vees and Arthur Jarvinen; an electronic duo of Tom Recchion and Mark Trayle; and Alex Cline solo percussion.
