  4. finally 2001 put an end to the drama "I see and I think I know about the problem now: We shipped an order to the spanish address, containing item 500733 (Gordon, Compl. 11CD), but the two additional ordered items (Pepper/Montgomery) were already sold out when we prepared and shipped the goods. I am very sorry, but those sets won´t get back in the near future. We are trying to offer those sets again in autumn, but it is unclear if we will really get a hold on more copies Best wishes Stephan Lüning service@zweitausendeins.de when autumn in germany begins? 5. i love to dance, always did because my sister is 5 years older than me i started to go to nightclubs with 11 years old and those were the glorious days of disco and funk music so between 11PM-5AM nobody could stop me Salsa is not a popular music in Brazil (far from being known by the way) but i'm among a very few dedicated people who keeps the flame alive so on wednesdays and fridays you can count that i'm shaking my bones being a brazilian, of course Samba is on the menu specially on the annual parade but even jazz makes me dance i can't hear Moanin' and keep my body quiet i wouldn't qualify what i do listening to Prince in live concerts as a dance...it is most like a wild performance specially at the shower Marcus
  6. maybe it's not for your taste but the best DVD-A i have is Winelight from Grover Washington Jr. and it's extremely well balanced and recorded Miles Davis' Tutu and Santana's Supernatural are very good too for multichannel purposes and the music of course is fine the Sinatra was a complete disappointment for me Marcus
  7. my sets arrived last week FFreshmen: #2954 Mildred: #2143 Marcus
  8. the only sad thing about this is that my budget has not been increased on the same proportion that my wish list is affected by this board. besides that, this board is my All Music Guide Marcus

  12. thanks for posting the answers Evan i'd like to be more familiar with Federico Britos' work haven't recognized RRK on any track i thought this was a kind of a joke from you not including him on your BFT. how fool i am.... i was convinced about Ray Brown being the bass player on track 4 and i guessed about Bird soundtrack but thought that was too obvious. sometimes we should keep things as much as simple as they are i was quite convinced about McLean on track 5 so you got me on this one too great work ! Marcus
  13. well, of ocurse i don't know who's playing what but this is a compilation that really got me hooked. billions of thanks Evan for having slow traffic sounding so nice my favorite tracks are the second one with this Clare Fischer flavour, the fourth one as i'm clearly addicted on piano trios and track 12 that i enjoyed very much too. the performance of stormy weather is really gorgeous track 6 is very good for testing the hi-fi is Charles Famborugh involved on track 10? track 7 is one of my favorite musics ever with one the sweetest lyrics i ever heard i was expecting to have RRK in one of the tracks so i'm pleased he is at least closing the show thanks Evan, you did such a great job Marcus
  14. yeah, it's me...nice voice isn't it? i can guarantee that eye-ear-toe is far from the correct pronounciation in portuguese Marcus
  15. thanks for this post. now i do have a real picture on the status of my order my orders were placed on the beginning of february with a single day of difference between them. the dexter boxset arrived a month later including a book of Matisse that i've never ordered. so far, my credit card has not been charged the Pepper and the Montgomery ones were supposedly shipped according to 2001 on March,13th. just checked with my friend in Spain today and nothing has arrived yet. no charges on my cc too it's clear that i won't have the boxes delivered it's time to send another email to 2001 Marcus
  16. there is a major reason Aggie. if they ship this to Brazil i have to pay a delicious 100% on importation taxes which is applicable on the total cost (goods+shipping). there is a price for living in a place with nice beaches and gorgeous ladies i have a friend in Spain who is supposed to come down here to visit his parents so i'm loading him with discs Marcus
