Merci mon cher Claude some neighbors effectively complained about my behavior during the game but anyone who really know about me is sure about my deep passion for the french team. i suffered a lot during the game expecting for a late goal from the yellow team but it was a complete relief when the referee blowed the final whistle. after 4 years of retirement Zidane was back and played marvellously well and this had positive impact on the other players. i still think Henry should improve his playing on this competition. we are far ahead from what i expected on this competition but i still think we should have Trezeguet on the team. i think it's a 50-50 against Portugal as their coach is a specialist on this kind of challenge. after 4 years of misery it was very good to have a genuine moment of happiness Impossible is not french Allez les Bleus!

ok, i thought Spain would knock us out but surprisingly we won the game. now we have to deal with the yellow team and it's gonna be a tough game. Brazil has the pression and people here started talking about revenge after 1998. they still don't accept their defeat i'm still not confortable with the french team and having Trezeguet on the bench but the joy and communion the players showed after scoring the second goal maybe indicates that their attitude is changing and they are becoming a group and a football team. hopefully Henry will start the competition on saturday and Zidane will deliver some caviars Aaaaaaaaaaaaaallez les Bleus!!! probably it's gonna be Germany x Sweden and England x Equador on the next round. i'm very happy that the german team is doing well on the competition. i was always confident they would be ready at the right moment for the competition. Marcus

what a poor game between Croatia and Japan. they both should be eliminated Portugal could be a dangerous team specially because of Scolari's knowledge on knock-out rounds yesterday Italy didn't played that well but i think the US team played what they could showing courage and energy. sadly the lack of experience of some US players ruined the one man advantage. Marcello Lippi admitted later that his team believed it would be an easy task to defeat USA and now Italy will have to fight against the Czechs Brazil once again did not played well and the Socceroos are very untalented players now i'm preparing myself for the upcoming poor performance from Domenech's tired warriors.... Argentina is a great football team. no doubts about it. hopefully they will maintain this high level of playing throughout the competition! Nederlands 2x1 Ivory Coast at first half. an exciting 2nd half is on the menu yesterday i was amazed on how many chances Sweden missed before scoring their unique goal. i can't understand how a team fights for 18 months to go to the WC and then started to play absolutely nothing at this stage of the competition. Paraguay & Costa Rica just took some vacations during the WC England was another disappointment yesterday. with so many talented players on the midfield why they can only cross the ball hoping that Crouch will do the rest. unbelievable. is there anything better in life than the WC? sorry if i'm late but Happy Birthday! Marcus -
couw, you should be happy. germany is already on the next round

if anyone knows the real answer about the french team please update me once again Barthez played on his regular level the germans have just scored a vital goal. that's the major difference between solid teams and the others. they win their matches even without playing well. Marcus

where is Kenny Weir?
-
you're absolutely right. on a good day Italy or Czech Republic may knockout Brazil on the next round Marcus
-
ok, i will spare all of you about the anger i'm feeling after such poor performance. Italy so far IMHO played the best football. as a Lippi fan i would love to see Italy going far on the competition. Nedved & company deserves the same faith i just read some news and the brilliant Domenech is saying that we should be happy as we grabbed 2 points from one of the toughest oponents we have on this highly competitive Group G. i need my medication Marcus Oliveira

Kenny!!!!!!!!! i hope you're still alive!!! i haven't seen the game but i'm very happy for you and specially because of japan's coach scoring 3 goals in 7 minutes on a world cup is something to remember hopefully the Socceroos will not waste this on the following matches Marcus ps:tomorrow is the day.....

me again! Ah-sump-cow is not good specially the "cow" sound because the correct spelling is Assunção Neh-vez makes Neves to sound too spanish which is not accurate too i'll post later a wav file with both names Marcus

i would say that the only difference from 2002 is that we know this time the brick wall is coming...at least my airbag will be active this time sadly Rothen is far away from his regular level so he woulda been a great option. i'm glad Giuly is not there and if i was the coach Anelka would never had a chance to comeback. i'm very worried we are taking Chibonda & Ribery to a World Cup without a previous single test but Domenech is one of the most skilled coaches i've ever known.... i don't think Saha could be on the group too and Cisse claims to be a much more skillful player but his ability to miss easy goals is very special.... if we could have Juninho on the team i'll be glad but Parreira is the brazilian Domenech so incredibly he will be on the brazilian bench. my major concern is which Thierry Henry will play on the WC. the Gunner striker or the ghost player who did nothing on the Euro2004 and got a stupid red card on the WC2002. he is the guy who supposedly should do the difference for the french team. i'm glad Totti is fit again..i'm counting with the italian team on the first knock-out round Marcus
-
hopefully he will play like that on the world cup. i was very disappointed with him in Tokyo by the end of the last year Marcus
-
shall i do any comment? better no..... who did most for french football? Domenech or Pires? Marcus
