  1. More from the 1960 tour. Playing Zurich at the moment. Pretty decent sound. Also contains music from Frankfurt, Munich and Scheveriingen.

    Cecil Taylor RIP

    I missed that one. I knew I should have gone if only out of respect for the master and living legend. I did get to see him at Scott's (mid sixties?) with Jimmy Lyons and Andrew Cyrille. In the seventies I saw his performance at the Roundhouse with William Parker, Rashid Bakr and a female dancer.

    Very sad news. Some of the most exciting piano music I've heard. Caught him live on two occasions both memorable.
  14. Fortunately we have this, still sounds fresh more than 50 years after the event. .
