Don't know about DVD-A but I can't believe SACD is on the way out. In classical music more and more is being (re) issued on SACD. Maybe that's the way it's going to be.....classical music only on SACD Hybrids.

DrJ: maybe you can ask Mosaic who it was sold to and if it's a board member he/she should get a bann of some weeks and a chance to clearify selling this set!!!! PS I have it but didn't listen to it yet.........will comment on it later.

I have the New Wave on LP and it's really good. A nice chance to hear a rarely used instrument : the bass saxophone on this one. Talkin' 'bout low end!!!!!!

Son of W: I can't find a october date in Lord for the Manne band and neither is a More Music from Gunn listed in Goldmine's (which doesn't say I thing I know). Please give me the catalog number and recording date if you know it. Thanks in advance.

That seller didn't even look inside the 2 cd's he saw. My bet is they are slimline double cd cases which hold 2 cd's each............With a starting price of $1 we can't complain I guess.

maybe we (old organissimo boarders) should unlist and re register so we could also hear the selcts before they are issued!!!!!!! Two newbies heard it before us........stranger things have happened I'm sure but this is getting way out of hand.

Jeez Ed you have a hawkseye!!! Nothing spectacular here I've just reminded MC about the excistance of the Illinois Jackuet EPIC cd and the alternates and sent them a copy for listning. I also reviewed the alt's and came to the same conclusion as MC writes in the producers note. -
You're right Mike. The first batch (or 2) have the older Super Jewel cases. Those are readily available in the Netherlands. I'm looking for the newer ones which aren't.
