Sorry I wasn't more specific. I haven't heard the recording they made together. I was referring to their work generally -- I think their approach is similar. I'm looking for suggestions for recordings from other artists. Thanks to jazzbo for the Barney Wilen & Lars Gullin tips -- I'll check it out.

I've listened to a great deal of jazz over the years, but really just began really *hearing* the subtle, complex playing of Hank Mobley and Hank Jones. Their lines often seem so 'unexpected' but so 'right', at the same time. And with both there's often an incredible architecture and deceptively laid back rhythm. I can't get enough. What should I listen to next?
